Bose soundlink revolve 2 vs soundlink mini 211/18/2023 If you sit six or so feet from it and you will get quite a broad sound stage. The stereo separation is the best of the three, and the reasons for that are the placing of the drivers and the shape of the speaker. You hear all the music, and there is some separation. I have listened to tranquil mellower music and found it very pleasurable, but there is a punch to the attack, and it is somewhat noticeable by me. This suits house and other beat-heavy music. The sound is not bad at all, but it is slightly aggressive. If you wanted to chill in the evening at low volumes, you might notice the punch and find it somewhat jarring. It has a punchy and somewhat aggressive sound which is nice depending on your mood. I was amazed at what it sounded like from a relatively small package. This construction means you do get some clarity in the mids which some speakers do not give you and you do get some beautiful bass. One reflector is visible in the front and one invisible at the back. It has four tweeters, the smaller two of which are angled outwards at the edges, and two passive bass reflectors. It is a tremendous speaker regardless of the price, but for the price, it is an amazing speaker. Soundcore Motion+: This is a fantastic speaker. TheBose SoundlinkMini 2 is not a real comparator and is much older. I have the Bose Soundlink+, The Soundcore Motion+ and the Beoplay P6 in front of me and have had them for a while. The extremes of response concern me greatly. I read some of the responses here, and I simply don't recognise many of them. I did not get the soundlink mini 2, but to me the waterproofing and 360 sound stage seemed better for the price (I got it for $200 whereas the mini 2 was $250). It’s the equivalent of listening to airplane buds. It has cloudy bass, hollow vocals, weirdly strained highs, and barely audible mids. Do not believe this subreddit - the Anker Soundcore motion+ can get loud, yes, but that’s literally all it can do. And I fiddled with it A LOT ( cause I really wanted to like it cause it’s significantly cheaper) but regardless of my tinkering, it really can’t get to the level of the Bose Revolve. Everything sounds hollow, thin, unbalanced, etc. Yes, you can modify the settings on the Anker, but it really does nothing to improve the sound quality. Because of such divergent opinions on this subreddit, I got both, and then listened to them for 2 weeks: the Anker Soundcore Motion+ is incomparable to the richness, clarity, etc. If anyone has any experience with them please tell me it'd be swell.ĮDIT: To anyone who might read this, the Anker Soundcore Motion+ is NOT the “ultimate speaker king” everyone in this subreddit claims. I just don't know which one is better because I don't have access to listen to any of them personally so I've been relying on reviews.
